HOMECARE HOMEBASE INTRODUCES SOPHISTICATED BUSINESS ANALYTICS TOOL FOR HOMECARE & HOSPICE AGENCIES

Knowledge Link™ business analysis tool gives Agency Management access to critical agency information.

(Dallas, TX) – Homecare Homebase, L.P. today announced the introduction of its proprietary business analytics tool Knowledge Link. By adding Knowledge Link to an existing Homecare Homebase solution, an agency can access and dynamically analyze operational data like never before.

Following an extensive year long development and testing phase, the Knowledge Link module is currently available to meet the requirements of both large and medium-size homecare and hospice agencies. From a top-level Agency Dashboard, with concise visual summations of the most critical agency data, to the more in-depth Business Analyzer, with sophisticated variable comparison capabilities, Knowledge Link sets a new standard for agency reporting and analytics software.

“This is the most sophisticated business analysis tool in the home health industry,” said Guy Conces, CTO of Homecare Homebase. “Through the use of innovative data warehousing technology agencies can now evaluate data multi-dimensionally, essentially giving them a view into their operations and agency performance that was previously not possible.”

Built on Microsoft’s powerful ProClarity platform, Knowledge Link makes timely access to an agency’s operational data possible. Since Knowledge Link draws data directly from databases within the Homecare Homebase solution, the data is complete, accurate and reflects agency stats from within the last business day. “This tool gives me access to information I need to know, when I need to know it,” said Gene Sykes, CFO of Alacare Home Health & Hospice, a beta customer on Knowledge Link. “This is by far the best tool like this I have ever seen, we now have access to information that was impossible to get before, and we can act on it quickly.”

Like all Homecare Homebase products, Knowledge Link is highly customizable giving agencies the ability to analyze data on an almost limitless set of current or future variables. “Knowledge Link not only allows you to view and compare your agency’s performance today,” said April Anthony, CEO of HCHB and Encompass Home Health, “it more importantly allows you to understand and model your future performance. A tool like this is vital in making informed management decisions, especially in the coming year of PPS changes.”

Knowledge Link™ is part of the Homecare Homebase Homecare Connections suite of products, which also includes Provider Link, a powerful portal for integration with physicians, facilities and discharge administrators and Referral Source Link, the only business development module for homecare and hospice agencies available.
