Homecare Homebaseā„¢ Ensures Agencies Comply with New York Medicaid changes

(Dallas, TX) – Homecare Homebase announces that its New York-based customers have successfully made the transition to comply with the revised New York Medicaid Episodic Payment System (EPS.) As a result of the migration from a fee for service model, to a PPS model, NY Medicaid’s new payment system, Homecare Homebase developers worked hand-in-hand with customers to make necessary functionality and programming changes to adapt the Homecare Homebase solution to the new NY Medicaid system.  

Homecare Homebase began this adaptation in late 2011, and successfully met the May 1st deadline set by NY Medicaid, making it possible for their customers to complete and file claims immediately after the system change with no delays in billing and no impact to cash flow.

Other enhancements are currently underway to meet the 5010 compliance requirements that are due 7/1 for NY Medicaid.
